My stay at the hotel was very comfortable and convenient. The room was perfect for my husband, who is disabled, with a large fan in case it got too warm and a comfy bed. Extra tea and coffee were available on request, maintaining the usual high standard of Premier Inn. The location was ideal for breaking up our journey, with plenty of parking space and a nearby restaurant for convenience. However, the dining experience left much to be desired with long queues and poorly cooked items. Overall, a good stop-off point with the need to manage expectations.

The family room we stayed in with our 7-year-old daughter was spacious and clean, but the view facing the link road to the motorway made it extremely loud, especially during peak hours. I was excited to check-in, but the room didn't appear ready even with the key. It was at the end of a long corridor, which I appreciated for the quiet. The room was nice, clean, and well-equipped, yet the limited sockets in the family-size setup were a bit inconvenient.
